Dr. Rachael Creisher

General Dentist

 

Rachael Creisher DMD is a General Dentist. Dr. Rachael Creisher, DMD, is a graduate of The University of New England's College of Dental Medicine and is a general dentist. During her time at UNE, she also earned a Certificate of Public Health. Dr. Creisher graduated summa cum laude from The University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in human biology.

 

In order to preserve oral health, Dr. Creisher aims to treat disease preventatively whenever possible. As an Associate Fellow with Biolase, Dr. Creisher is happy to offer laser dentistry to her patients. Laser dentistry is very conservative and known to reduce discomfort during dental procedures. Skilled in all aspects of general dentistry, she especially enjoys cosmetic and prosthetic cases. Patients agree that she successfully creates a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere that puts even the most anxious patients at ease.

 

Dr. Creisher is active in public health volunteering. She educates and provides dental care to the community through various outreach programs such as Health Care for the Homeless, Bright Smiles, The Dental Wellness Center, and the Headstart programs. She was also part of Medical Teams International dental trip to Honduras in 2010 and plans to be involved in more international dental trips in the future.

 

Dr. Creisher lives in South Portland with her two sons and their dog.

Dr. Chelsea Toussaint

Associate Dentist

 

Dr. Chelsea Toussaint is a graduate of the University of New England College of Dental Medicine and a board-certified general dentist. She is originally from northern Maine and has a background in public health, with 15 years of experience providing dental care to homeless, children and underserved populations across the state. She began her career as a dental hygienist, graduating summa cum laude from UNE in 2008, and continued on to dentistry with an ambition to improve the comfort of dental care with her gentle, caring, and patient-centered approach. She focuses on education, encouragement, prevention, and working as a team member with her patients to achieve their best oral health possible. Outside the office, Dr. Chelsea is also an accomplished musical artist and enjoys painting, videography, sailing, dogs, and traveling to new places. She currently lives in Portland and is very excited to become an integral part of our team.
